“The Jealousy Factor Seems Always There”

Quote

A quote from an anonymously submitted comment:

“For bi men the interrogation by others is pretty extreme and finding a long term understanding loving partner has been a long journey. I’ve had better luck with bisexual women than either gay men or straight women – even in the best of circumstances where gay guys & straight girls work hard to understand, the jealousy factor seems always there …but when I am with a bi girl there is less threat. In fact it is fun to talk about our attractions.” -MK

Kinsey Scale

The Kinsey scale attempts to describe a person’s sexual identity using a rating scale of 0-6 (exclusively heterosexual to exclusively homosexual). How can something so fluid and multi-dimensional as sexuality be labeled so concretely by 7 number ratings?
